Imagine a software that can ripp your DVD's just by a press of a button. Acala DVD Ripper can do this giving you the impression that you are a professionist. Just load the DVD, choose the path where you want to be saved and start the conversion.
You can use three output formats: AVI (with XVID compression), VCD, SVCD. By VCD and SVCD you can choose the split mode (infinite or 74min. 80min. length CD's) and TV Mode (PAL, NTSC, FILM). But I was interested more on AVI format. You can set all the important characteristics of the XVID encoding, from audio quality to aspect ratio, frame size, frame rate.
